MEMS oscillators are first to offer multiple synchronous outputs
The industry's first quad frequency MEMS oscillators with multiple synchronous outputs have been touted by analogue and mixed signal specialist IDT.
The new 4E series is targeted at communications, networking, storage, industrial and fpga applications. The modules are available in frequencies up to 600MHz and integrate an lvds and lvpecl output with a synchronous oscillator.
They also feature two control pins to select between four factory programmable output frequencies, allowing for the replacement of four components with a single device.
"Our new CrystalFree MEMS oscillators eliminate the need for additional quartz crystals and bring tremendous value to customers," said IDT's Christian Kermarrec. "Our new 4E series provides our customers with what they've been asking for – simplicity and cost savings."
