Power management market on road to recovery
After a dismal 2012, the power management market is forecast to reach $7.56billion in the second quarter of this year, up 6.6% from $7.09bn in the first quarter.
The rise marks the end of a six month period of contraction for the sector. IHS says Q3 revenue will be even higher, with total revenue slated to grow by 4.8% by year end from 2012.
According to the market research firm, the biggest growth areas will come from the wireless and industrial markets, which are expected to make up for the sluggish data processing and consumer segments.
