Power mosfets target industrial applications
International Rectifier has announced the StrongIRFET family of power mosfets.
Featuring ultra low on state resistance (RDS(on)), the devices are targeted at industrial applications such as battery packs, inverters, uninterruptible power supplies, solar inverters, forklift trucks, power tools, mobility scooters and ORing and hot swap applications.
In addition, the mosfets offer a high current rating, which IR says helps to improve system reliability and saving on part count when replacing lower performing devices.
