Power supplies meet latest green specifications

Adding to its ECS family of 'green' ac/dc power supplies, XP Power has introduced the 130W ECS130 module.
Available in a 2 x 4in open frame package, the single output device can be either convection or forced air cooled and used in a variety of end applications.
When convection cooled, the unit is capable of up to 100W output. The full 130W can be achieved with 10CFM airflow across the power supply.
The series comprises six single output models providing the nominal output voltages from 12 to 48VDC. The wide input accommodates the full universal voltage range from 80 to 264VAC.
The 'green' credentials of the ECS130 include an efficiency of up to 90% and a no load power consumption of less than 0.5W.
The supply can operate over an extended temperature range from -40 to 70°C, with no derating until 50°C.
Furthermore, the ECS130 meets ANSI/AMMI ES60601-1 and IEC60601-1 medical equipment safety standards and UL60950-1 / IEC60950-1 standards for IT and industrial equipment.
It also complies with both Class B conducted and Class A radiated limits of both EN55011/EN55022 standards for emissions without the need for additional filtering components.
