Rutronik adds Swindon office to improve UK coverage

Looking to improve its coverage of the UK and to be closer to customers in the south of the country, Rutronik has opened an office in Swindon. Although the company has been operating in the UK since 2005, it has done so from an office in Bolton.

“We are currently in the process of expanding our team in the UK significantly,” said Rutronik’s CEO Thomas Rudel, “but this is not the only reason for another office. Our presence in this strongly booming, innovative region – with many start-ups and development companies – is especially important”. According to Rutronik, around 60% of the market available to distribution in the UK and Ireland is attributable to the south of England.

The expansion takes the number of Rutronik employees in the UK to 55, of which 14 are field staff based at the Swindon office.
