Samsung to collaborate with Hyundai on next gen smart cars?
Samsung Electronics is close to signing a partnership agreement with Hyundai to apply its smartphone technology to the car manufacturer's onboard computer systems.
According to the JoongAng Daily, citing an official from Samsung Electronics, the companies will collaborate on offering automatic connections for Samsung smartphones and tablet pcs in Hyundai vehicles. Hyundai plans to install tablet pcs in all vehicles which will be able to access the internet via Samsung smartphones on mobile networks to stream multimedia content.
