SBC boasts Atom processor
A fanless 5.25in single board computer from BVM is based on the Intel 945GSE chipset. It also supports the N270 Atom processor running at 1.6GHz with a 533MHz FSB.
The board, called the LE-575, is optimised for embedded market applications such as digital signage, kiosks, POS, thin clients, digital security, and commercial and industrial control.
Up to 2Gbyte of DDR2 memory is supported and connectivity features include two USB 2.0, four GigaLAN, two mini-PCI, two150Mbyte/s SATA interfaces and one PCI ports. An 18bit LVDS dual channel connector, an optional onboard DVI interface, integrated audio and a GMA 950 VGA interface addressing up to 244Mbyte and supporting HDTV are all provided. Other features include an IDE Solid State Disk interface and a Type II CompactFlash socket.
Integrated power management, an 8-bit GPIO interface, RTC and watchdog timer are provided, and the board is powered from a standard 24pin external 80W ATX PSU, or DC via either a DC jack or a standard four pin power connector.
