Search tool speeds up search for power supplies and converters

TDK-Lambda has announced a new online parametric search tool that allows engineers to narrow down their field of search to quickly identify the right power supply that fits their application's requirements.
The Parametric Search Wizard provides a range of 1.5W to 100kW ac/dc power supplies and dc/dc converters, with new products being added as soon as they become available.
The Wizard has been designed to enable the selection of both ac/dc power supplies and dc/dc converters based on output voltage/current and input voltage. It also optionally specifies the required isolation voltage, mounting preference and remote on/off capability. The results displayed include product images to simplify selection of the power supply for the engineer.
Martin Southam, director of marketing for TDK-Lambda EMEA said: "There is no easier way to find exactly the right power supply for an application. Our Wizard will even find products with non standard input or output voltages – unlike many search tools which only give results for the most commonly requested voltages."
No client side code, such as JavaScript or Adobe Flash technology, is used as desktop web browsers it is suitable for the majority of smartphones.
