System tackles remote data storage security

Security specialist Intrinsic-ID has launched Saturnus, an application which it claims 'puts users back in control of their digital lives'. The system allows users to protect data with their mobile devices before storing it remotely in the cloud.
The security in Saturnus is based on a two factor protection: something the user knows, a password; and something they have, a mobile phone, tablet or pc equipped with Intrinsic-ID's Hardware Intrinsic Security (HIS) system.
Saturnus is said to be broadly applicable, not only in applications such as teleworking, but also for remote diagnostics and treatments of patients and secure cloud storage.
