TSMC to base European R&D at IMEC
IMEC has signed an expanded research agreement with TSMC, which is set to base its extended European research efforts at the Belgian research centre.

By basing its European R&D at IMEC, TSMC will benefit from IMEC's clean room infrastructure – which is currently being expanded to house advanced manufacturing tools. Meanwhile, IMEC and its members will benefit from TSMC's technology roadmap and platform expertise, customers, suppliers, and ecosystem partners.
