UK electronics firm to create 60 new jobs
Electronics manufacturing services company Connor Solutions has set its sights on further growth with a major expansion plan.
The Sunderland based firm is investing £3.6million in a three year programme to extend its manufacturing site and increase its electronics production capabilities.
The programme will involve the near doubling of its production facility to 50,000 sq ft and will create a further 60 skilled electronic engineering and assembly jobs.
Dermot Guerin, Connor's managing director, said: "The plant expansion will particularly help us to extend our capability in global logistics support, which is very demanding on space availability, and investment in new technology will further increase the speed and flexibility of our specialist manufacturing services."
