UKEA continues fight against counterfeit components
The UK Electronics Alliance (UKEA) has joined forces with ERAI to help companies address the growing threat of counterfeits in the electronics supply chain.
Both organisations have agreed to swap partial information from their respective online databases to create one unified system that contains thousands of documented suspect counterfeit reports.
Peter Brooks, chairman of the UKEA, said: "By collaborating in this way, two of the most significant organisations leading the fight against counterfeiting in the electronics supply chain have achieved a great step forward by increasing visibility of where the risks exist."
