The output is regulated to ±0.5% of nominal and an output voltage trim function permits the output to be adjusted by ±10%. No additional regulation components are said to be required and, with the 2:1 input range, the MTC2 is suited to applications where there may be wide deviations of input voltage.
A remote on/off pin aids power sequencing start up or the enabling of power saving features, while a continuous short circuit protection function ensures both load and device are protected.
Capable of operating at full output in temperatures ranging from -40 to 85°C, the MTC2 can operate a temperatures of up to 105°C with derating.
