5V zero drift op amp features low power consumption
Extending its family of precision op amps, Intersil has announced a new 5V, ultra low noise, zero drift rail to rail amplifier, which it claims features half the noise of competitive amps that consume similar power.
The ISL28134 is designed for amplifying small signals in analogue front ends that interface to pressure, temperature, medical, strain gage and inertial sensors. It is also suitable for low noise instrumentation systems by providing amplification before 24bit delta sigma a/d converters.
The chopper stabilised device features a low offset voltage of 2.5microV max and drift of 15nV/degree C max, and has an operating current consumption of 675microA. Its CMRR of 135dB is said to minimise errors in differential input configurations.
