Automotive power mosfets for piezo injection systems
International Rectifier has launched two automotive qualified power mosfets which feature low on state resistance (Rds(on)) for piezo injection systems for both diesel and petrol engines.
The AUIRFR4292 and AUIRFS6535 extend IR's range of automotive qualified mosfets to a breakdown voltage up to 300V. The 250V AUIRFR4292 offers a maximum Rds(on) of 345mOhm in a DPAK package, and the 300V AUIRFS6535 features a maximum Rds(on) of 185mOhm in a standard D2PAK package.
Available in standard surface mount packages, IR says the mosfets are suitable for piezo injection applications where high voltage is required to drive the actuators and ensure faster response and more precise control than magnetic solenoid injection systems.
IR's says its automotive mosfets are subject to dynamic and static part average testing combined with 100% automated wafer level visual inspection as part of IR's automotive quality initiative which targets zero defects.
