Automotive power switch targets motor drive applications
International Rectifier has introduced the AUIR3330S Intelligent Power Switch. Designed to reduce overall system cost in motor drive applications, the device has a proprietary active di/dt control feature that reduces conducted EMI and switching losses.
The 40V high side device combines bootstrap regulator, charge pump and high side driver into a single package. The load can be driven up to 40kHz at 100% of duty cycle. Other features include programmable over current, over temperature protection, current sensing feedback, a diagnostic function, low current consumption in sleep mode and ESD protection.
The device is qualified according to AEC-Q100 standards, features a lead free and RoHS compliant bill of materials and is part of IR's automotive quality initiative targeting zero defects.
