Accommodating up to four single-slot plug-in customer selected output voltage modules, the nanofleX series has been designed to maximise efficiency and minimise fan noise. Devices in the range series can deliver up to 850W from a universal input voltage or up to 1200W from a high line source.
The four output module slots provide for 19 nominal output voltage options in the range from 3.3 to 60V DC. Outputs are derived from one of four digitally controlled module designs. This approach is said to provide flexibility and the ability for the user to adjust the product to the end application, minimising inventory and supporting rapid turnaround.
Cooling fans in the centre of the supply reduce audible noise and allow users to specify airflow direction. Full output power is said to be available, regardless of airflow direction.
Analogue signals include AC OK (global), DC OK (global and local module), remote On/Off (global and local), voltage adjustment, remote sense and current share. Digital functions use a subset of the PMBus command protocol, including digital equivalents of the analogue signals and controls, together with over voltage, over temperature, over current and fan fail warnings.
The nanofleX series complies with IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI 60601-1 and IEC/EN/UL60950-1, providing 2 x MOPP, according to the 3rd edition of the medical safety standard.
