IQD launches new series of high temperature clock oscillators
Frequency control specialist IQD has unveiled the LHAT range of high temperature clock oscillators.
The cmos output clock devices operate at 3.3V and are housed in a 7 x 5mm dual hermetically sealed ceramic package with gold plated kovar leads attached using a eutectic brazing process.
Capable of operating at temperatures from 25 to 200C, they are available with a frequency range of 320 to 50MHz and a frequency stability of ±100ppm over 25 to 150C. Applications which need a higher temperature range can also be catered for.
The method used to connect the leads to the package is said to reduce mechanical and thermal mounting stresses, making the series suitable for applications which are used in demanding mechanical and high thermal situations. Examples include downhole instrumentation, rotary shaft sensors, underground mining tools and avionics applications.
