KHz Frequency silicon mems oscillator

The SiT8503 is described as the industry's first KHz frequency silicon mems oscillator. Manufacturered by Si Time for audio, microcontroller and high reliability industrial applications, it is now available from MSC Vertriebs.
Features include programmable support for any frequency between 200 and 1000KHz with accuracy up to five decimal places. It supports a range of applications and allows optimisation of frequencies for various applications. The mems oscillator is designed to deliver configurable operating voltages of 1.8, 2.5, 2.8 or 3.3V. Support of such a wide range of voltages eliminates requirements for expensive, external, level translators and minimises the need for additional regulators in the system.
SiT8503's ruggedness exhibits shock resistance of up to 50,000G and vibration resistance of up to 70G. The configurable frequency stability ranges of +/-20, +/-25, +/-30 or +/-50PPM. Its current consumption of less than 10µA in standby mode ensures long battery life.
The SiT8503 is suited as 100% drop-in replacement for quartz solutions in all four industry-standard surface-mount packages of 7 ×5mm, 5 × 3.2mm, 3.2 × 2.5mm and 2.5 × 2.0 mm.
