Microchip brings new family of 32bit mcus to market
Microchip's new PIC32MX family of 32bit mcus is said to combine high performance, integrated peripherals and memory, as well as low cost.
Available in 64/16KB, 256/64KB and 512/128KB Flash/Ram configurations, the mcus feature 28 10bit a/d converters and five UARTS, in addition to serial peripherals, graphic display, capacitive touch, connectivity and digital audio support.
The devices are targeted at the consumer, medical and industrial markets, and are supported by a range of tools and software. These include general software development tools, such as the MPLAB X Integrated Development Environment, and the MPLAB XC32 C/C++ compiler.
