New family of stepping motor drivers unveiled by Toshiba
Toshiba Electronics Europe has launched the TB67S14x series of constant current control motor drivers.
Available in the newly introduced QFN48 package, the devices are optimised for unipolar stepping motors used in home appliances and industrial equipment.
The drivers have absolute maximum ratings of 80V and 3A and have been fabricated using the BiCD 130nm, 80V analogue process.
They include Toshiba's current detecting circuitry, which removes the need for external resistance current detection circuitry and reduces component count.
