Okami range increased

The introduction of SIP 10A and 16A output current models follows the recent launch of 3A and 5A versions. The new additions are said to provide designers of equipment requiring high efficiency PoL power with a choice of compact and reliable modules. A range comprising four 10A models and four 16A models is available with either positive or negative on/off polarity and an optional sequence/track feature to control start up time requirement. The modules can act as a drop in replacement for other DOSA compliant parts or be used in space constrained designs that require high density power solutions and where a short time to market is required. Housed in DOSA SIP packages and measuring 50.8 x 12.7 x 9.4mm, Okami 10A and 16A DC-DC converters have a 8.3 to 14VDC input voltage range and a programmable output voltage of 0.75 to 5.5VDC. Efficiency levels are up to 94.5% and all modules in the range are able to drive 1000µF capacitive loads. This makes them suitable for powering the latest generation of fpgas and dsps with tight output load regulation requirements. Operating temperature range is -40 to 85ºC.
