Power mosfets deliver 50% lower on resistance compared to predecessors
Renesas Electronics has launched three new mosfets, optimised for use as ORing FETs in power supply units for network servers and storage systems.
The devices are said to feature the 'industry's lowest' on state resistance of 0.72mO for 30V – about 50% lower compared to Renesas' earlier products.
They are avilable in a small surface mount package (8-pin HVSON), enabling high current control in a smaller package and contributing to power savings.
