Delivering 500W of power and claimed to achieve up to 92% peak efficiency, the XL500 is said to provide more power from its small footprint design than competing modules, freeing board space for other components. The unit offers a universal AC input with a built-in safeguard against any sudden drop in power. Additionally, there is protection against overload, over voltage and over temperature plus a remote sense function to regulate the supply's output voltage.
Fully UL and CE safety certified, the XL500 Series power module weighs 460g and can withstand up to 2G vibrations. The Series joins the company’s existing XL and PL programmable power supply products that deliver a wide variety of single output voltages from 5 to 60V and 450 to 3000W.
