According to RS, key additions include the GHA300F and GHA500F series of 3 x 5in footprint units, which deliver a maximum of 500W. Fitting 1U applications, the supplies offer a built-in fan, low leakage current, internal dual fuses and a harmonic attenuator that meets IEC61000-3-2 Class A. Other features include built-in power factor correction (PFC) circuitry for decreased AC input capacity, as well as built-in inrush current, overcurrent and overvoltage protection circuitry.
The company has also added the TUHS and TUNS series of AC/DC converters. The TUHS series has a compact footprint for improved design flexibility. Accepting either an 85 to 264V AC or a 120 to 370V DC input, the converters feature PFC circuitry, making them suitable for conduction cooling. Other features include overcurrent, overvoltage and thermal protection.
Devices in the TUNS line offer a choice of 5, 12, 24, 28 and 48V outputs, with power ratings of 50 to 700W. The TUHS range has outputs of 5, 12 and 24V, with power ratings of 3 to 25W.
Finally, the CHS range of isolated DC/DC converters offers efficiencies of up to 92.5%. Supplied in the quarter-brick format, the parts integrate overcurrent, overvoltage and thermal-protection circuitry. Accepting inputs of 18 to 36V DC or 36 to 76V DC, the parts have a choice of 3, 5, 10, 12 and 15V DC outputs, with power ratings of 60 to 500W.
