Targeted at process automation and instrumentation systems, the AD7176-2 achieves a 50kS/s multi channel scan rate, and according to the company allows for faster manufacturing while achieving the precision, low input bandwidth signal measurements that are inherently associated with the sigma-delta architecture.
Measured on a single channel, the AD7176-2 delivers 17.2 noise free bits at 250kS/s and 22 noise free bits at 5S/s. On chip peripherals include a 2.5V, ±2.5ppm/°C reference and ±2.5% internal oscillator, which ADI says reduces board space and lowers bom costs while maintaining high performance.
