ADLINK’s LEC-BT module certified for the Internet of Things

ADLINK Technology today announced that its latest SMARC form factor module, the LEC-BT, is certified by Intel for Intel® Gateway Solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) using Windriver and McAfee software integration. Paired with ADLINK's device-to-cloud platform SEMA Cloud (Smart Embedded Management Agent) that enables remote monitoring control and management, the LEC-BT is an ideal building block for developing IoT devices with a secure interconnection to the cloud.

The LEC-BT module is designed for both portable and stationary embedded systems, providing traditional PC ports as well as a variety of I/O commonly used for smartphones and other new generation portables such as camera input and audio interfacing. ADLINK's SEMA consists of deeply integrated hardware and middleware that enables access to the system for status information gathering and facilitates data communication to the SEMA Cloud portal where monitoring, remote device management and intelligent analytics are hosted and can be custom configured. Featuring an ultra-compact size of 82mm x 80mm and running an Intel® Atom™ Processor E3800 (formerly "Bay Trail") 22nm process single, dual or quad-core SoC from 1.46 to 1.91 GHz with up to 4GB soldered memory, the LEC-BT boasts high performance in a small footprint with a typical power envelope under 6W. In addition, ADLINK's new MXE-200i embedded IoT gateway platform, based on the Intel® Atom™ Processor E3826 SoC, comes in a modular design leveraging the SMARC form factor standard, supports Intel® Gateway Solutions for IoT and delivers the manageability and security critical to IoT-based operation. The MXE-200i will be launched in Q4 of 2014. For more product information, please visit: http://www.adlinktech.com/Computer-on-Module/SMARC
