New Artesyn Industrial DC-DC Converters
Artesyn Embedded Technologies offers three new series of compact DC-DC converters, targeting a diverse range of low power applications, including data and telecommunication, instrumentation, computer peripheral equipment, industrial automation and mobile battery-powered systems.
The ATA series of 3, 6 and 8 watt isolated DC-DC converters comprises 30 variants and feature four ultra-wide 4:1 input range variant, each with a choice of single output and dual output models. Fully encapsulated in an ultra-compact 0.94 x 0.54 inch (24 x 13.7 mm) plastic case, the converters have a height of just 0.32 inch (8 mm).
The AYA series 3W isolated DC-DC converters feature four 2:1 input range variants, each with a choice of four single output models, offering voltages of 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V and 15V, and three dual output models offering +5/-5 V, +12/-12 V or +15/-15 V. Fully encapsulated in an ultra-compact 0.55 x 0.55 inch (14 x 14 mm) plastic case, the converters have a height of just 0.32 inch (8 mm).
Both the ATA and AYA series offer up to 87 percent conversion efficiency and use 100 kHz fixed frequency switching to minimize the need for external EMI filtering and comply with the EN 55022 class A and FCC level A standards for conducted noise.
Artesyn’s AXA series 10, 20 and 25W high density DC-DC converters feature an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range is available in single or dual output models. The AXA series offers up to 89% efficiency in a 1x1 inch fully potted and metal cased package.
