DSP for FPGAs
1 min read
In the next five years, there will be more wireless and digital communication standards, pervasive computing and widespread availability of data on the move. The growing requirements for processing speeds of the order of gigaoperations per second, the need for rapid prototyping and software definable architectures will further the penetration of fpgas into the dsp communication market.

The course, designed to provide a solid grounding in the rudiments of DSP theory and algorithms, is suitable for engineers from a range of application backgrounds – in particular, analogue, rf, digital, dsp and fpga/asic.
Coordinated by Professor Bob Stewart from the University of Strathclyde, the course has been designed to present the complex mathematical theory associated with DSP in an intuitive and straightforward style.
The Institute is renowned for postgraduate education, professional training and research in the methodology and applications of system-on-chip design, system level integration and related software and hardware technologies.
