100W pcb mountable power supplies
TDK-Lambda UK has upped the output power of its ZPSA series of pcb mountable ac/dc power supplies with the introduction of a 100W model.
According to TDK, the new single output ZPSA100 accepts a wide input voltage range, has a low profile (26.6mm) and industry standard footprint (127 x 76.2mm). It is said to be suitable for applications such as LED signage and lighting, point of sale equipment, and test and measurement equipment.
The supplies are available with output voltages from 5V to 48Vdc and are said to offer a typical efficiency of up to 90%. They have an input voltage range of 90-264Vac (47-440Hz) or 120-370Vdc and have been designed for operation in either convection or customer air cooled environments from 0 to 70°C, with appropriate derating. A green led is provided as an indicator that the power supply is on, and other standard features include over voltage and short circuit protection.
