Power supplies offer 93% efficiency

XP Power has added to its GCS series of single output ac/dc power supplies.
Complementing the GCS150 150W models, the GCS180 range extends the power output capability up to 180W. All models in the range have a no load input power of less than 0.5W and a typical efficiency of 93%.
The GCS180 series is available in multiple mechanical formats, giving the designer several mounting configurations to choose from to suit the end application.
Convection cooled formats, providing up to 150W output, are in an industry standard 127 x 76.2mm open frame package, an optional enclosed cover option is also available.
The full 180W output is available when a forced air flow of only 7 CFM is provided by the user or by using the optional top or end mounted fan formats.
Across the range, five single output models are available covering the popular nominal outputs of 12, 15, 24, 28 or 48VDC. An additional 12V/0.6A fan output is included as standard.
