Actel announces free IP cores bundle with software packages
Actel is enabling access to over 50 IP cores with its standard software packages. This includes free access to IP libraries in its Libero Gold edition and RTL source IP libraries in its Libero Platinum edition.
The Libero Gold Edition, which supports Actel fpgas up to 1.5million system gates, includes obfuscated versions of the Actel IP cores that can be used in designs but cannot be modified. The Libero Platinum edition supports Actel fpga devices above 1.5million system gates. In addition, RTL source code for a selection of Actel IP cores can be accessed through Actel's SmartDesign tool.
The Libero Integrated Design Environment can be downloaded and installed directly from Actel's website.
