Cree claims industry’s brightest single die led
Optimised to achieve up to 186 lumens per watt at 350mA, Cree's new XLamp XM-L2 leds are said to be the brightest in the industry.

Built on the company's advanced silicon carbide technology, the devices are designed for very high lumen applications such as indoor, high bay and outdoor lighting.
Cree says they deliver 20% more lumens per watt over the original XM-L led, enabling lighting manufacturers to use fewer modules and deliver a better lighting system at a lower cost.
Characterised at 85°C, the XM-L2 led is available in 2700 to 6200K colour temperatures and offers minimum CRI options of 80, 85 and 90. It is available in a 5 x 5mm package and is said to require only 3000 hours of XM-L2 led LM-80 data, instead of the normal 6000 hours.
