Digital potentiometers offer highest bandwidth, lowest resistance tolerance
Analog Devices has introduced a new series of non volatile single, dual and quad channel digital potentiometers (digiPOTs).
The AD514x and AD512x series devices are designed to improve component matching in industrial and communication control systems by featuring resistance tolerance of ±1% (typ).
They also achieve a 3MHz bandwidth, which ADI claims is 50% higher than the closest competitor - enabling faster system response time.
All 11 devices feature 4kV ESD protection and a low temperature coefficient of 35ppm/°C over an extended temperature range. They are available in a 3 x 3mm LFCSP package option.
