Embedded World 2013: Microsemi showcases SmartFusion2 SoC fpgas
Microsemi will demonstrate its new SmartFusion2 SoC fpgas at this year's Embedded World.
Said to be the industry's only flash based fpga targeted at communications, defence, aerospace and industrial applications, SmartFusion2 integrates a flash based fpga fabric, a 166MHz ARM Cortex-M3 processor, security processing accelerators, dsp blocks, sram eNVM and communication interfaces on a single chip.
Microsemi will also feature its ultra low power radio on its stand in Hall 1, Booth 652, which is said to require just 2mA of current to transmit and receive data.
Additional products to be featured at Embedded World 2013 include the company's portfolio of sensor solutions. Microsemi's PoE solutions will power many of the demos.
