Fujitsu expands 8bit microcontroller family for dc motor control
Fujitsu Semiconductor has expanded its 'New 8FX' 8bit microcontroller family to include nine products from the 48pin MB95690 series and six products from the 64pin MB95810 series.
Fujitsu claims that the MB95690 series meets the demand for low cost, low power microcontrollers that control brushless dc motors and support high end products requiring fine grained system control, such as temperature and light sensors.
The MB95810 devices are said to offer up to 60KB of flash memory capacity and are also equipped with peripheral circuits, for example up to 12 channels of high precision a/d converters and an analogue comparator with reference voltage.
Both series are optimised to reduce system components and run large scale processing programs. The company says each will offer 'right sized' solutions for consumer electronics, power tools and industrial applications.
