Portable analyser is smaller, lighter and more capable
Anritsu has expanded its Passive Intermodulation (PIM) test portfolio with the PIM Master MW82119A, said to be the first high power, battery operated portable PIM test analyser.
According to Anritsu, the device is 25% the size and half the weight of alternative test solutions, yet offers 40W testing and the company's Distance to PIM feature. The compact housing allows the device to be used in sites where access is difficult, including remote radio heads.
Six models are available, address the upper and lower 700MHz bands, 850MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz, 1900MHz, and 1900/2100MHz.
Designed to withstand transportation shock, vibration and harsh outdoor test conditions, the analyser is said to simplify test by allowing set ups to be saved and recalled, while limit lines can be set for visual and/or audible pass/fail criteria.
