Queen’s Awards 2013: CommAgility commended for export success

Loughborough-based firm CommAgility has won a Queen's Award for Enterprise in recognition of its success in selling to overseas markets.
The company, which designs, manufactures and sells complex electronic products for next generation wireless telecoms, saw its export sales grow by 51% from 2010 to 2012.
The firm's boards are based on dsp and fpga chips, and provide high performance signal processing for wireless infrastructure, test and other applications.
CommAgility's md Edward Young said: "This award is recognition of the hard work of all of CommAgility's staff, and the expert help provided by our partners and distributors around the world."
Also commended for its success in international trade was Herefordshire based ETL Systems.
The company, which designs and manufactures rf distribution equipment for satellite communications, won the prestigious Queens Award for International Trade for a third time.
"We are overjoyed to have been recognised for our ongoing success in international markets," said ETL's md said Ian Hilditch.
"Our sales figures are proof that we are acknowledged as one of the best in our sector. We are pleased to be moving forward and forging a strong reputation around the world."
