Young Engineer named
Patrick Burns from Northern Ireland has been named Young Engineer for Britain. The 15year old has developed a portable automatic hazard system which plugs into a car’s power outlet.
In the event of a breakdown, the system provides working light to help the driver check out or repair the problem, but also warns of oncoming traffic, which it detects by picking up the headlights or vibrations of oncoming traffic.
