DC/DC converters boost efficiency, cut footprint
Murata has announced the NCS1 family of single output, 1W DC/DC converters.
The series comprises two input voltage versions accommodating the 4:1 input range of 4.5 to 18VDC around a 12VDC nominal, or 9 to 36VDC around a 24VDC nominal.
Output voltage options, regulated to within +/-0.5% of stated output, are 3.3, 5, or 12VDC.
Packaged in industry standard single-in-line formats measuring 21.87 x 11.3 x 8.2mm, the DC/DC converters are said to offer a higher efficiency than similar products on the market.
They are suitable for use over a temperature range of -40 to 105°C.
