High voltage quad switches offer guaranteed latch up prevention
Analog Devices has expanded its protection products portfolio to include the ADG5212 and ADG5213 high voltage, latch up proof quad switches.
Designed for industrial, instrumentation and automotive applications operating at up to 22V, the devices contain four independent single pole, single throw switches and according to the company, achieve the industry's lowest charge injection of 0.07pC. Max leakage is rated at 400pA.
To help shield equipment from excess current and eliminate the need for designers to install additional protection circuitry, the devices have a 2.5kV human body model ESD rating. ADI says they are suitable for data acquisition and sample and hold applications where low glitch and fast settling time are required.
