Frequency control specialist IQD has unveiled a new range of high specification crystals for specialist applications such as military, radar and pagers.
Manufactured at its IQD FOQ division in Germany, the crystals are available in a variety of package styles, including UM1, HC49, HC43CW (TO8) and HC45CW. A Cold Weld package is also available for customers wanting the highest possible Q factor.
According to IQD, the new range offers low aging down to 0.1ppm per year and frequency tolerance at 25°C down to ±3ppm. Temperature stabilities down to 4ppm at 0 to 70°C and 12ppm at -40 to 85°C can be specified depending upon customers applications.
The devices are said to offer excellent phase noise and are available in three frequency ranges, including 10 to 42MHz at fundamental mode, 10 to 125MHz at 3rd Overtone and 70 to 175MHz at 5th Overtone.
IQD offer an express manufacturing service for these parts as short as 3 days dependent upon the specification required.
