Surface mount crystals

The new X22 crystals are housed in a microminiature 2.5 x 2.0 x 0.6mm surface mount package making them suitable for use in miniaturised hand held equipment such as PDAs, GPS, PCMCIA and similar high density applications where space is at a premium. Offering low aging of less than ±2ppm per year at 25^°C, specifications include calibration tolerance at 25^°C of ±10ppm, ±20ppm and ±30ppm and frequency stability of ±10ppm from -10 to 60^°C (±5ppm available), ±10ppm from -20 to 70^°C and ±15ppm from -40 to 85^°C. Drive level is 50 to 100µW maximum while shunt capacitance is 2 to 4pF typical, 5pF maximum with load capacitance series or from 9 to 32pF. Storage temperature range is -50 to +105^°C. Supplied on standard EIA tape and reel, the new X22 crystals are capable of withstanding reflow soldering conditions of 260^°C for 10s maximum (twice) or 230^°C for 180s once.
