Featuring six new models, the IsoVu family portfolio now includes products with both large differential and common mode voltage ranges.
Users can now accurately measure a range of differential signals from 5mV to more than 1000V, from DC to 800MHz, in the presence of large common mode voltages of up to 60kV.
The IsoVu products also include high input impedance. The differential input resistance is up to 40MΩ and the differential input capacitance can be as low as 2pF. A large input impedance is said to allow users to make measurements anywhere in their circuit without concerns about loading the signal under test.
According to the company, the combination of large differential voltage and high input impedance allows designers to completely characterise their systems and eliminates the need for conventional probes tied back to ground through the scope.
200MHz, 500MHz, 800MHz bandwidths are available with either 3m or 10m fibre optic cable lengths. The previous 1GHz model continues to be available.
