TI announces 1MS/s a/d converters for programmable logic control and data acquisition

The 4 channel ADS8634 and 8 channel ADS8638 are said to provide the widest temperature range available for demanding industrial measurement applications up to 125°C and are fully characterised over the extended industrial temperature range. When used with an external reference, the modules are designed to allow an input range of ±12V, an improvement of 20% over competing modules. They also feature integrated reference and temperature sensors to reduce system cost and complexity.
