Work is well underway on the 2013 Roadmap from the International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (iNEMI), and a workshop is scheduled for 12 June in Berlin to review selected product sector and technology chapters.
This workshop is one of three regional meetings scheduled to review progress to date on the roadmap. The sessions allow industry input into draft chapters in order to ensure inclusion of key issues from each region in the 2013 Roadmap.
The European workshop will cover the medical and automotive product sectors along with technology chapters on environmentally conscious electronics, packaging and MEMS.
