The move is intended to generate synergies, according to the company, and to further improve efficiency across both brands and although the move combines the efforts and the teams, neither of these well-established brand names - EBVchips and EBVsolutions - will be changed.
The new Product Innovations team is to be managed by Dr. Eckart Voskamp, Director Product Innovations, and he will report to Thomas Staudinger, VP Marketing EBV Elektronik.
Commenting on the announcement Dr. Voskamp said, “With EBVchips we create, market and invest in our own products. Within EBVsolutions we create platforms to show-case innovative products of our suppliers to our customers. Using the synergy of both will enable us to provide the expertise to our customers helping them to find the right solution and to bring their products faster to the market.”
