Embedded World: Farnell element14 demos latest embedded design solutions
1 min read
Farnell element14 has announced some of its plans for this year's Embedded World exhibition in Nuremburg.
The company will be demonstrating its latest embedded design solutions including software development tools, development boards, ARM based designs, pcb design software and fabrication services that support developers from initial specification through to final prototype.
Additionally the company will be providing demonstrations of the Knode on element14 - the web based end to end design service that automates the creation and assembly of embedded design flow solutions.
Launched in June 2011, the Knode on element14 has been supporting the complete design flow from concept to tested prototype and enabling engineers to research, compare, design and prototype manufacture in a single, intelligent environment.
At the show, visitors will be able to learn first hand how they can access the latest products as well as exclusive development kits and tools easily and quickly via the Knode, and how by automating the configuration of product design flow solutions, valuable engineering resource can be increasingly focused on application design and IP creation.
Richard Hammerl, technical support manager of CadSoft Computer will be hosting live demonstrations of the latest v6 EAGLE PCB design tool which provides new functionality for the designer and drives design flow efficiencies by integrating pcb design with component selection and pcb fabrication.
Partners including Embest and Micrium will be joining Farnell element14 on the stand daily with a guest manufacturer each day. Freescale, Analog Devices and Microchip will be on stand displaying their latest embedded design tools and resources.
Farnell element14 will be exhibiting on Stand # 5.236.
