Renesas mcus target 32bit embedded applications
Renesas Electronics has released the first devices from its recently announced RX100 series of 32bit microcontrollers.
The RX111 mcus have been produced on an ultra low power zero wait state flash process supporting 32bit power consumption, with a range of standard peripherals and multiple safety functions.
They also come with an integrated USB 2.0 peripheral supporting host and on the go functionality.
Target applications include mobile healthcare, smart metres, sensors/detectors and industrial and building automation.
Samples of the RX111 devices will be available from July 2013. Mass production is scheduled to begin in September 2013.
