The devices are housed in a TO-39 package and can withstand shock levels of up to 8,000g for 0.5ms, ½ sine.
They are designed primarily for applications such as underground boring tools, down hole instrumentation and avionics applications including flight recorder equipment and on board computers.
Frequencies are available from 32.768kHz up to 50MHz and can be specified to operate from either a 3.3 or 5V supply providing a CMOS output and a start up time of under 5ms.
Current consumption is down to 3mA which again lends itself to applications in remote locations where easy access is not always possible. Standard packaging is in a tray and the devices are fully RoHS compliant.
